EarthDance 2011 Hampton Roads

Preserving the Forests

Thoughout the day we'll have performances, open dancing and drumming, dance lessons, poets, storytellers and comedians, interactive movement sessions, bands, tarot readings and energy work. Our children's activity tent will feature art, trains, reading and fun.

Dancers, crafters, and thrift store enthusiasts will enjoy Earthdance Thrift 2011, an open market for sellers of costumes, jewelry, crafts, and knick knacks. It is a great way to make room for new treasures. There will be a Earthdance Donation table - you can give to a good cause by donating your unwanted dance/craft material and we'll sell it to keep Earthdance going. Trades are encouraged so bring an item - take an item.

If you have other smallish, non-clothing items you don't need, you can drop them off at the Freecycle tent. These dedicated recyclers will take what you don't want, you can take anything you do want and whatever is left at the end of the day will be taken to a thrift store. No charge, no work, fun stuff.

Our food vendors will be serving their wonderful food. Beverages including soda, tea, coffee and water will be available. Small coolers are permitted.

Please remember that credit cards and personal checks are not accepted by food vendors or Earthdance Thrift sellers. There is no ATM available. Please bring the cash you'll need for purchases, raffles and your EarthDance donation. We encourage everyone to bring and donate a non-perishable food item that will benefit a local food pantry.
